At Lincoln Square, they believe that pets are family too.

They didn’t forget about your furry friends!  The apartments are pet-friendly; there is an on-site dog park and dog wash station, and most conveniently, there will be a Petsmart pet store in the ground floor retail space.  Owning a pet has never been so easy. You don’t even need to leave your apartment building to completely care for your pet.

With highly-amenitized apartments upstairs, the well-curated selection of retail stores downstairs and the ease of accessibility with parking and public transportation, it’s easy to see that Lincoln Square will be a popular addition to South Broad Street and South Philadelphia.  If you want to avoid the crowds, Petsmart gives its customers the option to order online and then pick up in store, and you save 5% at the same time – sounds like a no-brainer for pet owners renting apartments at Lincoln Square.

You may even find a furry friend to take home when you visit Petsmart!  Some locations have animals for purchase, or adoption. PetSmart has facilitated more than 8 million pet adoptions – more than any other brick-and-mortar organization.  Expert veterinarian care is available in many Petsmart stores, where Banfield Pet Hospital operates full-service pet hospitals. These in-store pet hospitals operate independently of PetSmart and employ veterinarians who provide a full range of health care and emergency services.

We haven’t heard yet if this Petsmart location will include the exciting extras that some stores provide like adoption centers, vet care, a grooming station or boarding facilities, but we are sure to find out soon, as construction on this project looks like it’s running smoothly.  The neighboring stores, Target and Sprouts Farmers Market, look to be coming along as well.  We should anticipate stores opening this year, which is very exciting!

PetSmart is another great addition to South Broad Street at the new Lincoln Square development – Philly’s newest Square.
