Taylor Swift at Lincoln Financial Field

Taylor Swift is going to be performing at Lincoln Financial Field on the 13th and 14th of July so make sure to get your tickets! Taylor Swift will be performing songs from her new album “Reputation” as well as some oldies but goodies.

The show will begin with performances by Camila Cabello and Charli XCX. Cabello is an up and coming solo artist whose career began with Fifth Harmony, a girl group that gained popularity with the help of the X Factor show. Cabello became a solo artist after several duets with other popular singers. Charli XCX, also known as Charlotte Emma Aitchison, will also open for Taylor Swift alongside Camila Cabello. Her music is considered dance-pop, electro-pop and alternative pop by music critics.

Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, Taylor Swift moved to Nashville, Tennessee at 14 years old in order to seek a career in country music. In 2006, Swift’s debut album got to number five on the Billboard 200 list. The second album she released Fearless, became the best-selling album of 2009. It won four Grammy Awards. She released five more albums after Fearless, each more popular than the last. Overall she sold more than 40 million albums and 130 million single downloads.  

Swift has received many awards and honors, including 10 Grammy Awards, 19 American Music Awards, 23 Billboard Music Awards (the most wins by an act), 12 Country Music Association Awards, 8 Academy of Country Music Awards, one Brit Award, and one Creative Arts Emmy Award. She has been listed in Rolling Stone‘s 2015 list of the 100 Greatest Songwriters of All Time.

Swift’s Reputation Stadium Tour is the fifth concert tour by Taylor Swift. It started on May 8th, 2018 and will end in Tokyo on November 21st, 2018. Her set list will include over 20 songs including “…Ready for It?”, “Gorgeous”, “Look What You Made Me Do”, “King of My Heart”, “Shake It Off”, “Blank Space”, “Don’t Blame Me”, and “Call It What You Want”. All you will have to do to make it to Swift’s concert and be a part of her tour is walk to the Broad Street Line from your Lincoln Square Apartment. You will be at Lincoln Financial Field in no time.
